"If you have a portable phone, you'll be
able to walk around while online. Phone Bridge has an $89 gadget
that lets you plug a regular telephone into your computer. Not
only does it give you really nice sound quality and echo cancellation
too, but it works really well.
Using a headset or the Phone Bridge product
will keep your co-workers from hearing their voice echoed back
to them (and the videoconferencing technology that is compressing
your audio and video will work much better too)."

PhoneBridge
is a little box that plugs into the speaker and microphone outlets
on your current sound card -- it has jacks to attach speakers,
a microphone and a regular telephone.
It allows your speakers and microphone
to operate normally when the phone is onhook but substitutes the
telephone handset mic and earpiece for the microphone and speakers
when the phone is offhook.
This device provides some of the most
useful features of the Quicknet cards but with greater ease (
no need to open the box) and with less cost.
The
product may be purchased at the PhoneBridge
site. for $89.95.

Customer Service:
I just want you to know what a pleasure
it is to receive a product that performs exactly as advertised.
I use my phone bridge with a plantronics headset, and it is perfect
for those long PC calls.
